AACVPR Program Certification is the only peer-reviewed accreditation process designed to review individual facilities for adherence to standards and guidelines developed and published by the AACVPR and other professional societies. AACVPR certified programs demonstrate the highest quality of patient care and are designated in the AACVPR Program Directory, often used by patients to find care.
The Program Certification process is designed for program-based adult cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs, and we welcome programs of all enrollment sizes to apply.

Performance Measures
Programs are evaluated on quantifiable indicators that evaluate clinical outcomes, processes of care, and program effectiveness. AACVPR evalutes results that matter to patients, such as improved physical function, symptom control, and quality of life.
